From a very young age wine always fascinated me and it’s always been a big part of family life… I owe that to my maternal grandfather. He had a huge collection of wine books from all over the world and he enjoyed drinking good wines! I think indirectly he transmitted the elegance and magic of this world to me.
I moved with my parents from the UK to the sunny Costa Brava, Spain in 2004, where I learned a whole new way of life and 2 different languages! I got a degree in Tourism, focusing my later projects on wine tourism in Spain and began to work in the industry shortly after.
Now years later, I have the WSET Level 3 in Wine under my belt, many years of experience in tourism and hospitality, plus first-hand experience of working in a winery. It’s now that I feel like I can start teaching about wine in English, teaching professionals a new language that will help them in their day to day jobs.
